Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Jethro collects, uses, and protects your information and the data of the minors under your responsibility. Jethro acts as a data processor, while the church or institution where you registered acts as the data controller.
1. Children's Best Interest
The processing of children's personal data on Jethro is carried out exclusively in their best interest and to ensure their physical safety while in the care of the institution.
2. Data Collected
We collect only the data strictly necessary for the safety of the operation:
- Minor Data: Full name, nickname, date of birth, profile photo (for visual identification at pickup), health information (allergies and dietary restrictions), and family link.
- Guardian Data: Full name, ID/Document, email, contact phone, and relationship.
- Usage Data: Access logs and check-in/check-out records for security and audit purposes.
3. Purpose and Legal Bases
Data is processed for specific purposes:
- Health Protection: Recording allergies and dietary restrictions to prevent serious incidents and protect the child's physical integrity.
- Security (QR Code): Dynamic codes ensure the child is handed over only to duly authorized persons.
- Emergency Communication: Notifying guardians through push notifications or calls on the Wall in critical situations.
4. Data Isolation (Multi-tenancy)
We follow the principle of Privacy by Design. A family's data is logically isolated per institution. Data you provide to one church is not shared with other churches using Jethro, ensuring complete privacy between different organizations.
6. Security and Storage
We implement rigorous technical measures, such as data encryption at rest and in transit, logical database isolation (Row Level Security), and strict administrative access control.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your data and the data of the minors under your care at any time, directly with the controller institution or through our platform.
